Mark Bahr enters his 22nd season as the team's director of hockey operations in 2015-16. His primary responsibilities are as travel and video coordinator.
A native of Hutchinson, Minn., he graduated in 1988 from Hutchinson High School, where he was an all-conference selection in hockey, track and football. In his senior season, he was a member of the all-state football squad as a running back and was also the captain of the National Champion Rochester Mustangs of the United States Hockey League.
After playing two seasons in Rochester, Bahr joined the Golden Gopher program as a player first in 1990, and has been affiliated with the program ever since. He works closely with the Blueline Club, serves as tournament director of the Mariucci Classic, is the tournament director of the John Mariucci Golf Open, and handles all travel, tickets and video responsibilities with Golden Gopher hockey. Bahr also works closely with alumni relations and the Big Ten/NCAA offices.
Bahr earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from Minnesota in 1994.
