2025 Outdoor Track & Field • Redshirt Freshman Season: Earned a spot on the Academic All-Big Ten team... Made his Gopher debut outdoors at the Arizona Spring Break Fiesta where he won the 1500m in a time of 3:47.96... Stopped the clock at 13:48.88 to set a new lifetime best 5000m at the Raleigh Relays to finish 32nd overall... Ran a 3:44.57 1500m at Hamline's 'Meet of the UnSaintly' to win the meet... Competed in both the 5000m and the 10000m at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field where he finished 26th and 21st overall, respectively.

Aided Minnesota's third-place team finish at the Roy Griak Invitational, the best since 2018... Ran an 8K lifetime best time of 23:38.1 at the Big Ten Cross Country Championships where he finished 48th overall and second among the Gopher lineup... Was 29th overall at the NCAA Midwest Regional 10K, crossing the finish line first among the Gopher men in a time of 30:12.44... Also competed at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invite and the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals.

2023 Cross Country • Freshman Season: Competed as a redshirt during the 2023 cross country season... Made the U20 World Team as a member of Team USA by finishing fourth overall at the USA U20 event in Richmond, Va., putting down a time of 24:23.3 at an 8K distance... Finished 54th overall at the World Athletics Cross Country Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, with a time of 25:48.0 with Team USA finishing seventh overall... Also competed at the Oz Memorial, Griak Invitational and Rocky's Run during the college cross country season.
HIGH SCHOOL: The first individual boys champion from a Minneapolis public school since Minnesota legend Hassan Mead is following Mead's footsteps to the University of Minnesota... Aidan Jones of Minneapolis Washburn, who was the first to achieve the feat since 2006, was also named the Star Tribune Metro Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year in 2022... He then finished 14th at the CHAMPS Midwest Regional XC Championships and was sixth at the NXR Heartland Regional Championships in a lifetime best time of 15:01.20.
