Gophers' second baseman starting in 48 games ? batted .252 on the season with 22 runs, seven doubles, two triples and two home runs and 18 RBI ? started in 24 games during conference play and batted .247 ? had his first hit and two RBI in the 7-1 Feb. 27 win over Delaware State ? his performance against Delaware State started a six-game hitting streak (Feb. 27-March 12), a season high ? went 1-for-3 with a run in the 2-0 win over Washington State (3/5) ? went 2-for-5 with a run and an RBI in the March 27 win over Cal Poly ? started the Big Ten Conference season with a double, a triple, a run and RBI in the 9-5 win over Purdue (4/1) ? followed up with a 2-for-3 day against Purdue (4/2) and a RBI ? had his second double of the season and went 1-for-3 with a run in the 7-4 April 15 win over Northwestern ? on April 23 at Indiana, went 2-for-5 with two runs ? hit his first of two home runs and went 1-for-3 with three runs against South Dakota State (4/27) ? had a season-high four hits and three RBI in the 5-4, 12-inning win over Iowa (4/30) ? went 2-for-4 with two runs and a double against Penn State (5/14) ? batted .563 during the Big Ten Tournament (9-for-16) to earn All-Tournament honors ? in the five games, had four runs scored, three RBI, a double and a home run.
2010 ? FRESHMAN SEASON:
Batted .335 with 35 runs, 18 doubles, one home run and 20 RBI ? made his collegiate debut on Feb. 19 against Akron, going 1-for-2 recording a double as his first career hit ? had a 12-game hitting streak from March 3 - March 23 ? went 7-for-12 in a series against Louisiana Tech March 26-28 ? went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored against Purdue on April 4 ? went 3-for-5 with three doubles against Indiana on April 25 ? was 3-for-5 with five RBI against North Dakota State ? had a 15-game hitting streak from April 16 - May 8, raising his average from .315 to .333 ? went 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI and his first career home run against Ohio State on May 20 ? was 4-for-5 with a double and two runs scored against Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament Championship ? went 2-for-4 with with one RBI and a double against No. 7 Cal State Fullerton in NCAA Regional play on June 4 ? was 3-for-5 with one RBI against New Mexico in NCAA Regional play on June 5.

Graduated from North St. Paul High School ? coached by Judd Sather ? named All-State in baseball and football as a senior ? two-time Allconference honoree in both baseball and football ? named All-Area in baseball in junior and senior season, and All-Area in football as a senior ? named District MVP in Legion ball in both 2007 and 2008 ? participated in the 2008 Lions All-Star Game this past year.

Business And Marketing Education major ? son of Tom Puhl ? lists advancing out of District IV playoffs and representing the district in the Legion State Tournament as his biggest sports thrill ? enjoys hunting and fishing during his spare time ? born on March 9, 1990.
