Appeared in 23 games ? Academic All-Big Ten honoree? letterwinner? had 39 at bats and produced three doubles and eight hits and scored six runs? walked seven times? saw action in six Big Ten Conference games? started as the designated hitter against UW-Milwaukee (2/25)? went 1-3 with a double and a run scored in the 9-4 win over Michigan (3/31)? held a career-high game when he went 3-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in the come-from-behind 11-7 win over North Dakota State (4/25)? had one at bat against Iowa (4/28) and went 1-1 with a run scored in the win? walked twice and went 1-2 with a run scored in the 8-3 win over Illinois (5/19).

2011 ? SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Appeared in four games and batted .286 with a triple and an RBI ? went 2-for-3 with a triple and a walk at Sacramento State on March 17 ? one of 17 Minnesota players to earn a spot on the Academic All-Big Ten team.

2010 ? FRESHMAN SEASON:
Appeared in 14 games and batted .118 with 5 RBI ? made his first collegiate start on Feb. 20 against Akron as the designated hitter ? collected his first collegiate hit against UW-Milwaukee on March 3, going 1-for-4 with one RBI and a run scored ? was 1-for-2 with a double and one RBI against Louisiana Tech on March 28 ? went 1-for-2 with one RBI against Indiana on April 23.

2009:
Redshirted the 2009 season.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduated from Eden Prairie High School ? coached by Mike Halloran ? lettered two years in baseball and two years in football ? played in the Twin Cities All-Star game in 2008 ? helped lead his team to a state runner-up finish in 2007 ? played strong safety on back-to-back state championship teams for Eden Prairie.
