Why Minnesota: "I'm choosing to play baseball at the University of Minnesota because of the great academics and baseball opportunities. Growing up as a kid from Minnesota it's always been a dream of mine to be a Gopher. So when the opportunity came it was a pretty easy decision for myself. It's a great honor for me and most definitely will not be taken for granted.  I hope to make an immediate impact on the team's success, and help play a big role in bringing home championships to the university. It would personally mean a lot to me to help maintain the great culture that the University of Minnesota provides, as well as be a leader on and off the field in any way I can. I'm very grateful for the opportunity, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for Gopher Baseball!"
