2012 SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Pitched five innings in five appearances struck out four and allowed two earned runs held an ERA of 3.60 made his first appearance against Kansas (3/10) when he pitched an inning and did not allow a hit pitched an inning against Kansas State (3/13) and North Dakota State (3/20) struck out two in the Augsburg win (4/3) pitched in the final game at Siebert Field and allowed two runs (5/1).
2011 FRESHMAN SEASON:
Appeared in eight games as a reliever and held an ERA of 5.40 in 10 innings pitched competed in his first collegiate game against St. John[apos]s (2/18) and allowed one hit and struck out one pitched an inning against Oklahoma State (3/6) and 1.1 innings vs. Gonzaga (3/13) had two strikeouts in two innings against Sacramento State and allowed one hit saw a career-high 2.1 innings pitched in the South Dakota State game 4/27) and had two strikeouts and allowed four hits and no runs appeared in an inning against Iowa (5/1).
2010:
Redshirted the 2010 season.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduated from Torrey Pines High School in San Diego where he was coached by Matt Chess and Mike Whalstrom named Honorable-Mention All-Conference at Torrey Pines and tied for a team-high with 15 appearances, primarily as a closer, in his senior season part of a Torrey Pines team that finished 22-10 and won the Avocado League with a 12-3 record also helped Torrey Pines make the sectional playoffs.
PERSONAL:
Majoring in communications son of Robert and Joan Tukey brother of former Golden Gopher swimmer Valerie Tukey (2004-08) lists most memorable sports thrill as pitching four shutout innings against Poway High School, a team that had not been shut out in nine years born on Dec. 21, 1990.
