2019 | SENIOR Made 20 appearances including two starts on the mound · finished 4-4 with a 2.38 ERA and two saves in 53.0 innings, striking out 49 batters · Academic All-Big Ten Selection · received George Thomas Most Improved Player Award voted on by teammates. Game Highlights: Made the opening day start for Minnesota, striking out three in 2.1 innings · shifted to the bullpen where he began his stay with 6.1 scoreless innings over three shutout appearances · struck out four in 3.2 shutout innings vs. Nebraska on March 31 · struck out five in 2.2 innings vs. Ohio State · struck out a season-high seven in 3.0 innings vs. Maryland on May 10 · worked a season-high 6.0 innings of one-hit ball vs. No. 21 Indiana in the Big Ten Tournament on May 23.

2018 | JUNIOR Academic All-Big Ten · made 13 appearances including 10 starts for the Gophers · posted a 4-2 record and 5.48 ERA. Highlights: Picked up a victory in his season debut, tossing 6.0 shutout innings with four strikeouts at Kennesaw State on Feb. 17 · struck out a season-high seven in 6.0 innings against Washington at the DQ Classic on March 3 · also struck out seven while earning the win in 6.0 innings against South Dakota State on April 25 · worked 3.1 shutout innings of relief, striking out three to earn the win at St. John’s on May 15 · started the Big Ten Tournament Championship game, getting a no decision after striking out three in 4.0 innings against Purdue · struck out four in 2.0 innings of relief work at Oregon State in the NCAA Super Regional on June 8.

2017 SUMMER BASEBALL Pitched for the Willmar Stingers of the Northwoods League • made 11 appearances on the mound including 10 starts, earning a 3-2 record and 4.82 ERA, striking out 37 in 50.1 innings • selected to the 2017 NWL Major League Dreams Showcase. 

2017 | SOPHOMORE Had a 2-1 record with a 5.85 ERA in 21 relief appearances • struck out 28 batters while opponents had a .258 batting average against him • Academic All-Big Ten. Game Highlights: Recorded one strikeout in 1.2 hitless innings at UC Irvine (2/19) • threw 2.2 scorelss innings with three strikeouts vs Seattle U (2/25) • struck out three batters in three innings vs Oral Roberts (3/3) in the Dairy Queen Classic • struck out two batters in 1.2 innings at California (3/14) • recorded three strikeouts in 1.1 innings at Indiana (4/15) • struck out two batters in 1.2 scoreless relief innings vs South Dakota State (4/18) • tossed one hitless inning with one strikeout vs Nebraska (4/23) • rang up three batters in 2.1 innings vs Illinois (4/29) • broke a career high with four strikeouts in three innings vs Indiana (5/26) in the Big Ten Tournament.

2016 SUMMER BASEBALL Made three starts in 12 appearances for the Lakeshore Chinooks of the Northwoods League • was 3-2 with a 2.95 ERA in 39.2 innings where he struck out 28 batters. 

2016 | FRESHMAN Appeared in 11 games and started one • maintained a 2.93 ERA with a 1-0 record • totaled 10 strikeouts in 15.1 innings pitched, while also holding opponents to a .140 batting clip • did not allow a run in his first nine career appearances • made a pair of appearances on the mound in Big Ten play. Game Highlights: Made first career appearance out of the bullpen and threw 1.1 innings, striking out one versus Utah (2/21) • came on in relief and induced a double play at Seattle U (3/16) • closed out the 10-3 win with an flawless inning that included two strikeouts against Augsburg (3/22) • hurled 2.1 flawless innings of relief in the opening game of the doubleheader sweep at No. 23 Missouri State (3/26) • provided 1.0 inning of relief and did not allow a hit versus Northern Illinois (4/6) • earned win in first career start after throwin 3.1 hitless innings and totaling three strikeouts against South Dakota State (4/12) • tossed 0.2 inning with just one hit versus Maryland (4/16) • pitched a scoreless frame of work out of the bullpen in 10-0 win against North Dakota State (4/19) • tossed 2.0 scoreless innings with one strikeout at North Dakota State (4/26) • came out of the bullpen and netted one total strikeout in appearances at Illinois (5/1) and versus Kansas (5/4).

HIGH SCHOOL Graduated from Whitefish Bay High School in 2015 • Started for Whitefish Bay since his freshman year • as a junior, he pitched five complete games, including three shutouts • posted a 1.08 ERA and struck out 82 batters while walking only 18 • earned all-state honorable mention, All-North Shore Conference, All-Suburban and academic all-state recognition • all-conference honorable mention first baseman as a freshman, and a second-team all-conference utility player and honorable mention all-state pitcher as a sophomore • also played basketball for the Blue Dukes.

PERSONAL Plans to major in family social science • son of Jill Dittrich • is an only child • lists winning the 2015 Premiere Baseball Championship in Joplin, Mo. and being able to close out the game in the final inning as his greatest sports thrill.
