Gophers Officially Announce 2026 Fall Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Minnesota tennis team announced its fall 2026 schedule, highlighted by the annual Gopher Invitational at Baseline Tennis Center from Sept. 25–27.

The Golden Gophers will split action at three events to open the fall season. In addition to the Gopher Invitational, selected student-athletes could be selected for the ITA All-American Championship qualifying rounds in Cary, N.C., Sept 19-27. Minnesota will also have individuals compete at the Husker Invitational, in Lincoln, Neb., Sept. 25-27.

In October, the ITA Central Regionals Championships will take place in Memphis, Tenn, Oct. 15–20, with qualifying Gopher student-athletes participating in the event.

In November, the team will look to advance through qualifying at the ITA Sectionals, scheduled for Nov. 5–8 in Fort Worth, Texas. Minnesota players also have the chance to play at the Michigan State Invite in East Lansing, Mich, Nov. 5-8 along with the opportunity to play in a UTR College Circuit tournament hosted at Baseline Tennis Center Nov. 6-8. Those who move on will close out the fall season at the NCAA Individual Championships, set for Nov. 17–22 in Athens, Ga.

Head coach Lois Arterberry and assistant coach Anastasia Pennington enter their fourth season leading the Gophers.

This year's roster includes freshmen Leina Gao, Massiva Boukirat, and Ksenia Hanke; juniors Nora Knezevic and Kamea Medora; and seniors Jeselle Ante, Anlin Xie, Mia Liepert; and fifth year Anali Kocevar.

The full spring schedule will be announced at a later date.
