Meet the 'U' on Sept. 26: Intrasquad Scrimmage and Fan Autographs

First look at the men's hockey team starting at 7 p.m.
MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota men's hockey team is set to host an intrasquad scrimmage open to the public inside 3M Arena at Mariucci on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. Fans will have a chance to watch the team less than one week before its season-opening game at Michigan Tech and stay postgame to get autographs from the entire roster.
Winter Clothes Drive
The Golden Gophers are also hosting a winter clothes drive along with the open scrimmage. Fans are encouraged to bring coats/jackets, hats, gloves, scarves, boots, etc. Minnesota will then donate these items throughout the community.
Free Admission
The open scrimmage is free to attend. Minnesota will be utilizing its new Open Gate metal detectors and standard bag size policy for fans attending the event. For more information about the bag policy, click HERE.
East Lobby Entrance
Fans can enter 3M Arena at Mariucci starting at 6:00 p.m. through the East Lobby and seating will be in Sections 1-13.
Autograph Session
At the conclusion of the scrimmage, all 26 players on the Minnesota roster will be available to sign autographs on the concourse for 30 minutes, starting near Section 4.
Parking
Fans are encouraged to park in the Maroon and Gold lots along 6th Street NE on the north side of Huntington Bank Stadium.
Concessions
Concessions will be available for purchase at the south concession stand outside Section 5 featuring a limited food menu, Coke products, and alcoholic beverages.
Season tickets and other ticket packages remain for the 2026-27 campaign with more information available by clicking HERE.
