Plosová, Schalin Set for Women’s Euro Hockey Tour

MINNEAPOLIS – Two more current Gophers are set for international competition during the month of August, as Tereza Plosova (Czechia) and Julia Schalin (Finland) have been named to their respective national team rosters for the 2026 Women's Euro Hockey Tour.

The four nations of Czechia, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland will face off in Kloten, Switzerland, to open the tour from Aug. 19-22. The tour will then head to Lahti, Finland, for its second stop from Sept. 30-Oct. 3.

Plosova and Schalin will each be joined by former Gophers on their respective national teams. Recent Walter Cup champion Natalie Mlynkova will suit up for Czechia, while recent Minnesota graduate Nelli Laitinen will represent Finland.

All four competed at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy.
