Twelve Golden Gophers Named CSC Academic All-District Honorees

MINNEAPOLIS – Twelve student-athletes from the University of Minnesota have earned spots on the 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, College Sports Communicators announced Tuesday.

Representing the women were golfer Isabella McCauley, gymnasts Sarah Moraw and Brooklyn Rowray, hockey player Gracie Graham, and rowers Manon Field and Chloe Petersen.

On the men's side, golfer Jack Crousore, hockey player John Mittelstadt, and wrestlers Koy Hopke, Max McEnelly, Ethan Riddle and Andrew Sparks were all chosen to represent Minnesota.

To be considered for a CSC Academic All-District Team, nominees must have met the following criteria: 
  • Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and must be enrolled at their institution at the time of nomination either as undergraduates or graduate students.
  • Student-athletes who have graduated from their own institution during the current academic year and are not competing in athletics at another institution at the time of nomination are eligible.
  • An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), while a graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and don't have an established graduate GPA.
  • Each nominee must have also competed in a certain number of games/matches/tournaments this year, depending on the sport.
First-, second- and third-team CSC Academic All-America honorees will be announced on July 7 for the women and July 8 for the men.
