PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Minnesota freshman Arianna Ostrum has been named a WCGA Second Team All-American on both all-around and vault, the organization announced today.

Selection Criteria for Division I: First Team All-America shall be awarded to the top eight (8) finishers, plus ties, of the NCAA regular season for all four (4) events plus the all-around. Second Team All-America shall be awarded to the ninth (9th) through sixteenth (16th) place finishers, plus ties, of the NCAA regular season for all four (4) events plus the all-around.

A Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., native, Ostrum had a spectacular first season in the Maroon and Gold. She was named First Team All-Big Ten, Big Ten Freshman of the Year and Big Ten All-Freshman Team. Ostrum won Big Ten Freshman of the Week three straight times to end the regular season. She also tied for the Big Ten Vault individual title.

She led Minnesota with 13 event titles in 2026, including five on vault and floor, three all-around and one bars. She ranked 15th nationally (39.415 NQS) all-around and  15th on vault (9.910 NQS). She became the second Gophers freshman and eighth all-time to earn a perfect 10 on vault when she did so on March 15. She earned 9.875-or-higher seven times in 12 vaults this year.

Ostrum was the fourth Gopher in program history to earn Big Ten Freshman of the Year. She's the first 'U' freshman to earn WCGA All-America honors as a rookie since Mya Hooten in 2021.

No. 13 Minnesota (21-6, 7-2 B1G) will begin postseason play in the NCAA Regionals on Friday, April 3 at the Corvallis Regional, hosted by Oregon State.
