Natalie Susa (0-1) got the ball to start for Minnesota (4-5) and took the loss. Sydney Schwartz was a bright spot for the Golden Gophers, coming out of the bullpen and throwing three innings, giving up one run on two hits, with two walks and five strikeouts.
Kuhn's two extra base hits were the highlight of a 2-for-3 day, and included two doubles. Tara Wolocko put together a standout performance at the dish as well, going 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Tinley Easton also helped out for the Golden Gophers, putting together one hit in three trips to the plate while adding a home run and an RBI.
