Student Shuttle
Students can hitch a free ride to all University of Minnesota soccer games. The shuttle's first pickup spot is at the Bierman Athletic Building (by the large Minnesota sign behind the building) approximately 30 minutes before kickoff. The second pickup spot is at Territorial Hall approximately 20 minutes before kickoff, with the drop-off at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium. Following each match, the student shuttle will depart 15 minutes after the game ends and drop off at the same two locations.
Last Time Out
The Gophers split their recent Big Ten road trip, earning a 2-1 victory over Indiana last Thursday before falling 3-0 to Purdue on Sunday. Against the Hoosiers, Minnesota used a strong second-half surge to claim three points on the road. Against Purdue, three first-half Boilermaker goals proved too much to overcome in West Lafayette despite a persistent offensive effort from Minnesota late in the match and a six-save performance in net by Sarah Martin.
Facing Maryland
The Terrapins enter Friday's match 3-7-1 and 0-5-0 in Big Ten play following a 2-0 loss to No. 12 UCLA last Sunday. Goalkeeper Faith Luckey made six saves against the Bruins. Minnesota leads the all-time series against Maryland 7-2-0 and have won their last two meetings. Friday's contest will be the first against the Terrapins since the Gophers defeated them 1-0 in 2024 at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium.
