'U' Golfers Earn Team Academic Award

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Minnesota men's golf team was honored Tuesday as a 2024-25 Platform Golf Team Academic Award recipient it was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
The Golden Gophers were one of 167 collegiate programs at the NCAA Division I level to earn the award by holding a team grade point average above 3.0. During the 2024-25 campaign, the Maroon and Gold finished in the top 10 at nine of its 11 events played, while its top five players all had a scoring average below 73.5.
