Gophers Officially Announce 2025 Fall Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Minnesota tennis team announced its fall 2025 schedule, highlighted by the Gopher Invitational at Baseline Tennis Center from Sept. 19–21.
The Gophers open the season at home with the Gopher Invitational before traveling to Wisconsin for the Milwaukee Tennis Classic, set for Sept. 25–28. Minnesota players have a chance to play in the ITA All-American Championships qualifying rounds in Cary, North Carolina, Sept. 20-28.
October begins with the Iowa State Invite in Ames, Iowa, Oct. 3–5, followed by the ITA Central Region Championships in Oklahoma, Oct. 16–20. The month concludes with the Michigan State Invite in East Lansing, Michigan, Oct. 31–Nov. 2.
In November, the team will look to advance through qualifying at the ITA Masters and Sectionals, scheduled for Nov. 6–9 with locations to be announced. Those who move on will close out the fall at the NCAA Individual Championships, set for Nov. 18–23.
Head coach Lois Arterberry and assistant coach Anastasia Pennington enter their third season leading the Gophers.
This year's roster includes sophomores Deniz Turan and Nora Knezevic; juniors Jeselle Ante, Yinong Ma, Anlin Xie and Mia Liepert; and seniors Sofia Pinto, Anali Kocevar, Arina Valitova and Aiva Schmitz.
