Crousore Ties Career Low, Leads Gophers at B1G Championships

BALTIMORE, Md. - University of Minnesota freshman Jack Crousore leads the Gophers through the second round of the Big Ten Conference Championships Saturday in Baltimore, Md.
The Maroon and Gold concluded the day with a score of even-par, placing them at one-over par and tied for fifth-place after the first 36 holes (281-280). No. 13 Illinois maintains the lead with a score of 9-under par.
Notable:
Nabbing six birdies in his second round, Crousore tied his career best, with a 4-under 66. The Bluffton, S.C. native heads to the final round two shots off the lead with a score of 5-under par and in second place overall (69-66).
Senior Eduardo Galdos (68-75) and junior Cormac Sharpe (72-71) concluded the second round tied for 32nd place with a score of 3-over par.
Senior Bennett Swavley (73-71) and freshman Chun-Ta Wu (72-72) finished the second round with a score-to-par of 4-over par, tied for 43rd.
