Gophers Ready for Big Ten Championships

MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Minnesota women's golf team is set for postseason play at the 2025 Big Ten Championships as they travel to Havre de Grace, Md., to compete at Bulle Rock Golf Course. The 42nd Championships will consist of 54 holes of stroke play; 18 holes per day. The rounds are slated to begin – weather permitting – at 7:30 a.m. CST on Friday and Saturday, and 7:00 a.m. CST on Sunday.


Last year, the Golden Gophers finished in ninth place shooting an 884 (+20). Junior Isabella McCauley will look to defend her individual championship title after shooting a 209 (-7) to be crowned tri-champion at last year's event. 


Live-scoring can be found at https://z.umn.edu/adom. This year's final round will feature live coverage on Big Ten Network scheduled from 12-3 p.m. CST.


Lineup:
Representing the Maroon and Gold are junior Isabella McCauley, sophomore Mariana Mesones, junior Ruby Chi, freshman Reese McCauley, and junior Madison Le. Sophomore Sara Tomaszewski will serve as the substitute. 


The Field: 
The Gophers will match up with fellow Big Ten teams in Havre de Grace. The 18-team field includes No. 5 Oregon, No. 7 USC, No. 10 Northwestern, No. 14 Ohio State, No. 24 Michigan State, No. 27 UCLA, No. 41 Purdue, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers, Washington, and Wisconsin.
