A Dozen Gophers Set for 2025–26 PWHL Season

MINNEAPOLIS – Rosters have officially been finalized for the third annual Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) season, 12 former University of Minnesota women's hockey standouts are set to compete across the league in 2025–26. The PWHL continues to feature strong Gopher representation, with alumnae spread across seven of the eight franchises.
This year's group includes both returning PWHL veterans and several Gophers making their professional debuts as the league continues its growth and national reach.
The 2025–26 PWHL campaign officially drops the puck on Friday, Nov. 21, marking the start of another season of elite professional women's hockey. Fans can follow along throughout the year at PWHL.com and across each team's official digital platforms as Gopher alumnae hit the ice in pursuit of the Walter Cup.
