Gopher Swim and Dive Set to Take on Arizona

MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota swim and dive programs are set to face the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday, Jan 18. The meet will be held at Hillenbrand Aquatics Center in Tucson, Ariz. and will begin at 11:00 a.m. CST/10:00 a.m. MST.

The Gopher women's program currently sits at No. 23 in the CSCAA Top 25 Poll and the men are ranked No. 24. The women's squad holds a 6-2 overall record, and are 4-0 at home. The men's program is 4-2 overall and 3-0 at home.
Both Minnesota programs are looking to bounce back after both squads fell to Arizona State last weekend. Senior Bar Soloveychik had a record-breaking night as he broke his own school record in the 1000 free with a new time of 8:52.82 and a first-place finish. Bar also placed first in the 500 free with a time of 4:19.31.
The Arizona Wildcats women's program sits at 3-2 overall coming off a win over Northern Arizona, and the men's squad is currently 3-4. The men's program received votes in the CSCAA Top 25 Poll.
