The No. 1 Gopher Hockey program returns to action this weekend with a home-and-homes series against No. 13/15 Minnesota Duluth. The in-state rivalry between former WCHA rivals kicks off Friday night at 7 p.m. at Mariucci Arena (FOX Sports North PLUS, BTN2Go.com, MyTalk 107.1 FM) with the Bulldogs hosting the series finale on Saturday at Amsoil Arena at 7 p.m. (FOX Sports North PLUS, 1500 ESPN).

Wilcox Climbs the Record Book
All-American Adam Wilcox continues to make a name for himself in the Gopher Hockey history books after picking up two more wins last weekend including his second shutout in eight games this season. Wilcox's nine career shutouts rank second all-time at Minnesota behind Kellen Briggs' 13 while the junior's 58 career wins rank fifth in school history. Next up on the list is John Blue in fourth with 64 wins -- Briggs also holds the school wins record at 84.

Cammarata Sets It Up
Sophomore Taylor Cammarata enters the weekend tied for first in the nation with 10 assists and has seven in the last three games (all of his 11 points and 10 assists have come in the last six games). Cammarata was named the Big Ten First Star of the Week after leading all NCAA players with five points (all assists) last week -- all without taking a shot on goal. Cammarata's three assists in Sunday's 4-2 win set a new career high for the sophomore.

Freshman Firsts
Two Gophers recorded notable points in Friday's win as freshman defenseman Jack Glover earned an assist for his first collegiate point while Leon Bristedt scored his first collegiate goal in the victory. Bristedt's goal marks the first by a freshman for Minnesota this season and is also the first goal from a Swedish-born player in Gophers' history.

Mariucci Magic
Minnesota now holds the longest active home unbeaten streak in the nation at 17 games dating back to Nov. 24, 2013 (2-6 loss to Minnesota Duluth). Included in the 17-game unbeaten streak is Minnesota's 1-0 victory over Ohio State in the 2014 Hockey City Classic at TCF Bank Stadium, which was officially scored as a home game. Friday's home game is the final regular-season home game at Mariucci Arena until the Mariucci Classic on Jan. 2-3.

Cammarata, Kloos Keep it Going
Sophomore forwards Justin Kloos and Taylor Cammarata have skated on the same line for three-straight years (two with Minnesota, one with the Waterloo Blackhawks in the USHL -- finishing first and second in the league scoring race in 2012-13). Over the last three games, the linemates have combined for 14 points (four goals, 10 assists). Kloos leads Minnesota with six goals this season while Cammarata leads the team with 10 assists.

There's No Place Like Home
The 2014-15 season marked the 21st campaign in which the Gophers have called Mariucci Arena home. Since opening Mariucci Arena, Minnesota is 295-113-45 (.700) on home ice. Since the start of the 2011-12 season, the Gophers are 53-10-6 (.812) on home ice including a 15-1-3 (.853) mark last year and a 5-0-0 mark this season.
