On losing to Colgate in the shootout…
"The glass definitely feels more half empty...It's a hallow feeling in the dressing room. Definitely for our goalie (Adam Wilcox). He doesn't like to get scored on. And we are obviously disappointed because we aren't scoring enough. We had the one-nothing lead in the second, we get a two-on-one and we don't convert, and then they score. Ultimately, the bottom line tonight is that giving up the puck between the blue lines in the neutral zone, is going to cost you the hockey game."
On the defense tonight...
"Our defensemen need to really be given credit tonight. Playing twenty-six or twenty-seven really heavy minutes, because we only had five. So it's tough, but you make the best of it, we have no excuses there. Whether it's coaching or not scoring, being short-handed, there is no excuse for it. (Colgate) is a good team. Now we don't get to play tomorrow night against Ferris State but we do get RPI."
