Minnesota Head Coach Don Lucia
On the team's performance:
"It was a very good game on our part. It started with Alex [Kangas] and it's amazing how the penalty kill improves when your goalie plays well. He was sharp Friday when he went in and this is the best he's looked all year and I think our team was able to feed off that."
On the game-winning goal:
"Coming into the game, we talked about the fact that Michigan's a good transition team. They've got very good speed and we knew we really had to be sharp and dig down and get our feet moving. We thought if we defended well we could get some chances offensively and we did."
On the second period:
"We gave up a goal in the second and to come back like that was great. It gave us momentum and that's a huge thing for the team."
On the win:
"We played the toughest team we've played so far this year and it feels good to beat a time like this."
On his goal:
"It's been awhile. I've had a lot of chances lately and just haven't been able to bury it. I got a nice pass from [Kevin] Wehrs and put it in the net."
On the win:
"After Friday night we were down a bit and we knew we'd come back hard tonight. We played a good team and we were ready for it."
