Anahit Assadourian, a former member of the Gophers gymnastics team from 2024-25, is now on staff as a student assistant coach. 

She competed exhibitions on uneven bars and balance beam for the 'U' the last two seasons.

The all-around gymnast and Burbank, Calif., native, competed for The Klub Gymnastics during her high school years. Assadourian was a participant of the European Youth Olympic Festival in 2017 and the European Championships in 2018. She made the World Championships in 2019 as a part of the Armenian National Team, which she competed for from 2017-19.

The daughter of Lusine Tumanian and Vahe Assadourian, she also has a sister, Arpine. 

Assadourian transferred to Minnesota in 2023 after spending the 2022-23 season at the University of Pittsburgh.
