2024-25: REDSHIRT SENIOR (157 LBS) - Match List
  • As the No. 9 seed, reached the Blood Round for the second straight year at the NCAA Championships
    • Beat No. 24 Dylan Evans of Pitt in th opening round before a tiebreaker loss to No. 8 Joey Blaze (Purdue), the eventual national runner-up
    • Followed with consolation wins over No. 10 Ethen Miller (Maryland) and No. 16 Cody Chittum (Iowa State) before a tiebreaker loss to No. 11 Matty Bianchi of Little Rock in the Blood Round
  • Finished fifth at the Big Ten Championships to punch his ticket to the NCAA Championships; defeated No. 3 Jacori Teemer of Iowa in overtime in the quarterfinals and beat Maryland's No. 5 Ethen Miller, the top seed at the tournament, in the fifth-place match
  • Recorded a 21-2 tech fall over Purdue's Wyatt Krejsa at the 4:56 mark
  • Majored Ohio State's Brandon Cannon, 11-2
  • Posted a 1-0 shutout of No. 30 Conner Harer in the Rutgers dual

  • All-SoCon and SoCon champion at 157 pounds
  • Opened NCAAs in Kansas City with 17-6 major decision against 14th-seeded Cody Chittum of Iowa State before losing by tech fall to Cornell’s Meyer Shapiro; had a 4-1 decision against Cal Poly’s Legend Lamar and a 4-2 decision over No. 11 Brayton Lee of Indiana before losing a 9-4 decision to Nebraska’s Peyton Robb with an All-America berth at stake
  • Went 3-0 at SoCon Championship with 9-2 decision in 157 final
  • Reached Keystone Classic final with a ranked win and won twice in Las Vegas in December
  • Overcame early 6-0 deficit to tie match at 9-all by the end of the third period and win 12-9 on a Sudden Victory takedown against The Citadel
  • Won by major decision against Campbell
  • Won by tech fall against Davidson in rematch of 2023 SoCon final and preview of 2024 final, one of eight tech falls and 15 bonus-point wins prior to the NCAAs.
2022-23: REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (157 LBS AT APPALACHIAN STATE)
  • SoCon champion and All-SoCon at 157
  • Went 0-2 at the NCAAs with a 3-2 loss to All-American Will Lewman from Michigan
  • Won 6-2 in the SoCon final against Davidson’s Tanner Peake
  • Entered NCAAs with 14 straight victories, In the last 10 matches before the NCAAs, won by a combined score of 136-39 (scores before a pin vs. Duke) with no takedowns allowed and eight bonus point victories
  • Placed eighth at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational with three wins — including a ranked win against Northern Iowa’s Derek Holschlag — and placed seventh at the Southern Scuffle with four wins
  • Only dual loss was a 9-4 decision against 2021 national champion Austin O’Connor of UNC — and had an 18-2 record in the next 20 matches after that loss in his first career dual start
  • Had five major decisions and two tech falls in his eight SoCon dual wins
  • Went 5-1 and placed third at the Keystone Classic; Only loss was a 5-4 decision — decided by a riding time point — against 12th-ranked Anthony Artalona of Penn.
2021-22: REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (157 LBS AT APPALACHIAN STATE)
  • Placed fourth at the Appalachian Open, sixth at the Mountaineer Invitational and eighth at the Keystone Classic
  • Went 4-1 at the Southeast Open to place fifth and also competed at the Southern Scuffle
  • Won by tech fall in a dual extra against Presbyterian.
2020-21: FRESHMAN (157 LBS AT APPALACHIAN STATE, DIDN'T COUNT AGAINST ELIGIBILITY BECAUSE OF COVID)
  • Went 7-5 at 157 pounds with two major decisions
  • After SoCon duals, won extra matches against Bellarmine, Davidson and Gardner-Webb
  • Won an 8-4 decision against Grant Speer, The Citadel’s starter, at the App State Individual Quad
  • Went 2-0 with a fall and major decision at the Edinboro Round Robin Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL
  • Won a New York Division I state title at 152 pounds as a senior, claiming an 8-5 decision against highly ranked reigning state champ A.J. Kovacs, to produce Pine Bush High School’s first state champion in 30 years and cap a 41-0 senior season
  • Also the lone Section 9 champion at the Eastern States Classic as a senior, was named the Varsity 845 wrestler of the year
  • Was taken down only two times as a senior
  • Listed at No. 17 on Intermat’s final 152-pound national ranking
  • Competed at 145 pounds as a junior and placed fourth in the state with a 42-6 record
  • Sectional finalist as a sophomore
