- Won the 2025 and 2026 Class AA state titles at 127 pounds title after taking the 121-pound crown in both 2023 and 2024
- In addition, he was a state qualifier at 106 pounds as an eighth-grader.
- Finished 231-3 in his prep career, including a perfect 191-0 record over the last four seasons
- Twin brother of fellow Gophers freshman, Joel Friederichs
