- Continues the pipeline from St. Michael-Albertville High School to the Golden Gophers following in the path of the Thorn brothers, the McKee brothers and current Gopher Jed Wester among others
- Two-time state champion in Class AAA at 189 pounds and a finalist in 2026; went 133-2 over his final three seasons
- Helped the Knights to state titles in 2024, '25 and '26
- Was 47-0 as a junior as he helped his school to a state title and undefeated campaign
- In addition, finished sixth at 170 pounds in Class AA as an eighth-grader while attending Big Lake High School
- Placed seventh at 2025 USA Wrestling Nationals at 190 pounds and placed fourth at 182 pounds in 2023
