- Attended Watertown-Mayer High School where he won the 2025 and 2026 Class AA state titles at 121 pounds for the Royals
- Was a finalist at 114 pounds as a sophomore and added a fourth-place finish at 106 in his freshman season
- Finished 182-9 in his prep career, including 91-0 over his final two seasons
- Placed 7th at the 2026 U.S. Open in U20 Greco-Roman
- Finalist at the 2025 Junior Nationals in Fargo
- Twin brother of fellow Gopher freshman, Titan Friederichs
