PRIOR TO MINNESOTA:
Myers spent the 2020-24 seasons at Purdue University, playing three seasons after redshirting in 2021 • helped the Boilermakers make Sweet 16s in 2023 and 2024 after they went to the Round of 32 in 2022 • averaged 1.31 kills (.342), 1.0 blocks and 0.24 digs per set in her three years in West Lafayette • had her best season in 2024, hitting .356 with 1.28 kills and 1.06 blocks per set • Myers posted four-or-more blocks 16 times and six-or-more blocks four times last season • earned five-or-more kills in 17 matches and ranked 25th in the Big Ten in blocks per set in 2024 • as a junior in 2023, Myers registered 1.46 kills (.333) and 0.98 blocks per set • posted 17 matches with 5+ kills, including a career-high 11 against Indiana • the standout middle blocker earned 5-or-more blocks 10 different times.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:
Attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ohio • a four-year starter at STA, she was a two-time North Coast League and first-team Stark County selection • a two-time all-district honoree, Myers registered 489 kills, 178 blocks and 62 aces • she guided the Knights to a regional runner-up finish in 2016 and a second-place standing at the 2017 state championship • Myers was named the 2018 North Coast League Offensive Player of the Year and the Stark County Division 3/4 Offensive Player of the Year • for AAU, she played for The Academy for Volleyball Cleveland (AVC) club team • she was also selected to the AVCA Phenom Top-8 Leader Board as a freshman.
PERSONAL:
The daughter of Since'Ray Myers Dreger and Michael Dreger, Lourdes is an only child • she will pursue a certificate in talent development and education at Minnesota.
