From Savage, Minn., Lewter came to Minnesota as an all-around gymnast • she competed for Legacy Gymnastics for coaches Kari and Will Vaughn • enjoying a great season this year, Jayda posted a career high of 9.80 on vault, 9.60 on beam and 37.525 in the All-Around at the Salto National Invitational • she also has a career high of 9.6 at the Gliders Invitation earlier this year • in 2023, Lewter finished in the top-10 in the all-around and vault at the Level 10 Regionals • she was an All-Star Vault Specialist at Level 10 Nationals.

The daughter of Jill and Kenny Lewter, she has two brothers, Ken and Kamden • undecided on her major.
