2024-25: GRADUATE SEASON
Competed in 35 games for the Maroon & Gold… Grabbed a career-high seven rebounds in her lone start against Rutgers… Scored a season-high 10 points, going 3-for-3 from the field with three assists against Nebraska… Played 24 minutes at Ohio State, scoring five points with six rebounds and one steal… Logged a season-high 25 minutes in Minnesota’s Big Ten home opener against Penn State, scoring four points and dishing out five assists… Recorded four games with five or more assists… Ended the season with 62 assists, the fourth most on the Gophers’ squad.
AT UMASS
Played the 2023-24 season at UMass where she averaged 11.4 points per game while dishing out 67 assists and had a 1.26 assist to turnover ratio... Proved her ability to disrupt the game defensively by forcing 26 steals in her 20 games played.
AT EAST CAROLINA
Spent three seasons at East Carolina, starting in 22 of 81 games played ... Averaged 3.1 points per game, 1.5 rebounds per game and 1.5 assists per game ... "Alexsia is a dynamic guard that not only provides our team a veteran presence, but is also a proven winner, having led her team to the American Conference Tournament Championship and the NCAA Tournament in 2023 while she was at East Carolina University" said Plitzuweit. "She is someone from the guard spot that can start our defense by applying pressure to the ball early and she also has the ability to create things offensively for herself and others with her speed and ability to both score and pass. We are elated to welcome Alexsia into our Gopher Women's Basketball family!"
