PRIOR TO MINNESOTA
Qualified for the U20 World Championships in the hammer throw (6kg), where he finished 11th overall with a toss of 65.32m (214-4)... Won the discus (1.75kg) at the Greek U20 Championships at Municipal Stadium in Trikala with a mark of 54.53m (178-11)... Was ranked eighth in the world in the 6k hammer throw... Holds a hammer throw (6kg) personal best of 73.11m (239-10)... Finished third at the Greek U20 Championships in the hammer throw (6kg).
