• Registered six game-winning goals, ranking third in the NCAA, with all of them in the final 26 games played
• Buried the game winner against St. Cloud State (Mar. 25) in the NCAA Fargo Regional Finals to send Minnesota to the NCAA Frozen Four
• Scored 21 of his team-leading 22 goals in Gophers' victories, with two power-play goals, as the team was 16-1-0 when he found the back of the net
• Registered at least one point in 32 of 39 games played leading to a record of 27-5-0 when he had a point
• Paced the Gophers with eight points in four NCAA Tournament outings and had 12 points in six postseason games
• Had a team-best 27 points in 19 games against opponents ranked in the top 10

• Posted at least one point in 42 of the 51 games played in 2021-22, including a five-point effort against Buffalo State

• Led Team USA in scoring with 14 points and had a point in every outing on the way to a bronze medal at the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship in eastern Canada
• Ranked second in the tournament for total points behind seven goals and seven assists
• His seven goals tied for the third-most by a USA player in tournament history and joined elite company with Trevor Zegras (2021), Auston Matthews (2016), Johnny Gaudreau (2013) and five others that scored seven times

• Scored a hat trick in USA's quarterfinal win over Germany during a four-point effort Jan. 2

• Brother, Eric, played four seasons of NCAA Division I college hockey at Niagara before spending the 2021-22 season at Ohio State, while brother, Riley, played in the NAHL for the New Mexico Ice Wolves in 2021-22
• Uncles, John Mooney (Colorado College) and Tom Mooney (Notre Dame), also played Division I hockey
• Selected No. 3 overall in the first round at the 2022 NHL Entry Draft by the Arizona Coyotes and the first American-born player off the board
• Became the second-highest draft pick in Gophers history, behind only Erik Johnson (No. 1 overall, 2006)
• Ranked No. 2 in Central Scouting's final ranking of North American skaters heading into the 2022 draft
• Highest drafted player ever from the state of Pennsylvania
