2025 Outdoor Track & Field • Redshirt Freshman Season: In his first season in uniform competed in nine total outdoor meets... Made his official debut in uniform at the Arizona Spring Break Fiesta in the discus and hammer throw... Posted a lifetime best in the hammer throw at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships with a mark of 59.83m (196-3) to finish 26th overall... Finished 20th at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in the discus (50.62m | 166-1)... Was fourth at the Drake Relays in the discus with a lifetime-best toss of 54.19m (177-9)... Won the discus event three times during the outdoor season at Hamline's Meet of the UnSaintly (53.83m | 176-7), the Gary Wilson Invitational (50.48m | 165-7) and the University of St. Thomas East Invite (53.97m | 177-1).
2024 Outdoor Track & Field • Freshman Season: Competed in four events during his redshirt season at Minnesota... Opened the outdoor season at the Hamline Invite, competing in the shot put, discus and hammer throw... Won the Hamline Invite hammer throw with a toss of 51.20m (168-0)... Posted a season-best shot put throw of 16.15m (53-0) at the Gary Wilson Invite to finish eighth... Was third in the discus throw at the Gary Wilson Invitational with a mark of 52.41m (171-11)... Had a season-best hammer throw of 52.45m (172-1) at the Gary Wilson Invitational... Was second in the shot put at the Bethel Invitational with a mark of 15.34m (50-4).
PRIOR TO MINNESOTA
Boasts a discus personal best of 55.71m (182-9) along with a personal best of 16.64m (54-7) in the shot put (12 lbs.).... Was undefeated throughout the 2023 season in the discus before finishing seventh at the MSHSL State Track and Field Championships where he also finished eighth in the shot put... Was a talented defensive lineman for Woodbury at 6-foot 6-inches, Dunigan was listed at 255-pounds in high school and helped his team reach the Class 6A second round in 2022.
