Media Credentials

The University of Minnesota Athletic Communications office utilizes an on-line credential system for home games. Media can apply for credentials by visiting http://www.athletics.umn.edu/credentials/media/.

Please scroll to the bottom of this page to read the Big Ten's CONDITIONS PLACED ON USE OF CREDENTIALS policy. Minnesota issues credentials to members of the media working on assignment on deadline for recognizable news outlets.

CONDITIONS PLACED ON USE OF CREDENTIALS
This working credential is subject in all respects to policies set forth by The Big Ten Conference, Inc. as in effect from time to time. This working credential is issued for the sole purpose of providing facility access to an accredited agency’s employee who has a legitimate working or administrative function in conjunction with this event. Any alteration, assignment, duplication, modification, sale, or transfer of this credential is expressly prohibited. Violation of the foregoing or any other unauthorized use of this credential subjects the bearer to ejection from the facility and prosecution for criminal trespass, in addition to all other rights or remedies available to The Big Ten Conference, Inc. and/or the facility. By using this working credential, the bearer and accredited organization voluntarily assume any and all risks, hazards, and dangers in connection with or incidental or ancillary to this event, including, without limitation, the risk of personal injury, death, exposure to communicable disease, virus, bacteria, or illness, and lost, stolen, or damaged property, and release, waive, and agree to jointly and severally indemnify The Big Ten Conference, Inc. from and against any claim, damage, expense, liability, or loss arising out of or otherwise related to the same. Any secondary use of any picture, photograph, audio description, video, film/tape, drawing, or other description of this event taken or made by the accredited organization or individual to whom this credential has been issued (including, but not limited to use in delayed editorial or non-editorial advertising, sales, promotion, or merchandising) is prohibited without The Big Ten Conference, Inc.’s prior explicit written approval. Nothing in these terms and conditions allows, authorizes, or grants the bearer of these credentials any right in or to the trademarks, copyright, or any other proprietary rights of The Big Ten Conference, Inc. and its member institutions, each of which are expressly reserved.

Photographing or otherwise duplicating this credential is strictly prohibited.

THIS CREDENTIAL IS NOT VALID AT THE 2026 BIG TEN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME OR THE 2027 BIG TEN WOMEN’S & MEN’S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS.

ACCEPTANCE OF THIS CREDENTIAL CONSTITUTES AGREEMENT BY THE BEARER AND THE BEARER’S ORGANIZATION TO ABIDE BY THE FOREGOING CONDITIONS, INCLUDING ALL OF THE BIG TEN CONFERENCE, INC.’S POLICIES, THE TERMS OF WHICH ARE INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE.


The Big Ten Conference, Inc. reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without notice.
