Minnesota’s Big Ten Women’s Basketball Schedule Revealed for 2026-27 Season

The Golden Gophers' Big Ten schedule will begin Dec. 6 at Purdue.
MINNEAPOLIS - The 2026-27 University of Minnesota women's basketball conference schedule was officially released Wednesday on B1G Today. The Golden Gophers' Big Ten slate features nine home games and nine road games, beginning Dec. 6 at Purdue.
Fans can guarantee their seats to all the team's home games by purchasing season tickets on GopherSports.com. Single-game tickets will be available to season ticket holders starting on September 21 at 9 a.m. CT and will be available to Gopher Score on September 22 at 9 a.m. CT. The public can purchase single-game tickets starting on September 24, at 9 a.m. CT.
Additionally, tipoff times, TV/streaming coverage and a full promotions schedule will all be announced at later dates.
Twelve of Minnesota's 18 Big Ten games are against NCAA Tournament teams, with five of those games being played at Williams Arena by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. The Maroon and Gold will begin conference play Dec. 6 at Purdue's Mackey Arena and will tip off against Maryland on Dec. 30 at the Xfinity Center.
The Gophers will have three consecutive home games against Indiana (Jan. 2), Penn State (Jan. 5) and Iowa (Jan. 9).
Minnesota will then hit the road to face reigning national champion UCLA on Jan. 12 at Pauley Pavilion, followed by a tilt at the Galen Center against USC on Jan. 15 before facing Border Battle rival Wisconsin on Jan. 21 at home.
The Gophers will take a quick trip to Columbus to take on Ohio State at the Schottenstein Center on Jan. 24 and will then host Oregon in Minneapolis on Jan. 28.
The Maroon and Gold will travel to face Wisconsin at the Kohl Center on Feb. 4 and will then host Rutgers on Feb. 7.
Continuing on the road, Minnesota will then have back-to-back road games against Nebraska at Pinnacle Bank Arena (Feb. 11) and Michigan State at the Breslin Center (Feb. 14). They'll return home for games against Michigan (Feb. 17) and Washington (Feb. 20).
The Gophers' final road test will be against Northwestern at Welsh-Ryan Arena (Feb. 25) before closing out the regular season at home against Illinois (Feb. 28).
