2026 Golden Gopher Hockey NHL Entry Draft Guide

MINNEAPOLIS - The gold standard of college hockey is ready for its next chapter June 26-27. As the 2026 Upper Deck NHL Entry Draft takes over KeyBank Center in Buffalo, N.Y., the University of Minnesota is primed to extend a draft tradition that stands unmatched across the NCAA. Boasting a nation-leading 248 all-time selections, Minnesota has had at least one player hear their name called in 51 of the last 52 drafts dating back to 1974. This weekend, a new class of Maroon and Gold talent stands ready to make history and etch their own names into the ultimate legacy of NHL development.
The first 32 selections will be made Friday, June 26 at 6 p.m. (CT) live on ESPN and ESPN+. The final six rounds are slated to begin at 10 a.m. (CT) on Saturday, June 27 and can be watched on NHL Network and ESPN+.
