Big Ten Opponents Announced for 2026 Season

The Gophers will play nine Big Ten home matches
CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Big Ten has announced the conference opponent rotation for the 2026 volleyball season. With the league going to a new 17-match format this season, teams will play either eight or nine home games, and vice versa on the road.
Minnesota will play nine intra conference home matches this season and eight on the road.
Minnesota's Opponents:
Home: Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Oregon, Penn State, Washington, Wisconsin
Away: Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Ohio State, Purdue, Rutgers, UCLA, USC
The Gophers finished 15th in the AVCA Final Rankings last season after making the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2022. Minnesota went 24-10 (12-8 Big Ten) and tied for sixth in the league regular season standings.
