McKinney Suffers Season-Ending Knee Injury

It was announced on Monday morning by Head Coach Dawn Plitzuweit
MINNEAPOLIS - University of Minnesota head women's basketball coach Dawn Plitzuweit announced today that Tori McKinney suffered a season-ending knee injury last week during practice.
"Last week, we learned that an injury Tori McKinney sustained in practice was confirmed to be a season-ending knee injury," said Plitzuweit. "We are heartbroken for Tori, but we know she will attack her rehabilitation with the same enthusiasm, determination, and relentless effort that she plays with. Over the past two years, Tori has continued to elevate her game, grow into a vocal leader, and shine on the biggest stages. We are incredibly proud of Tori's determination and growth, and we cannot wait for her to be back on the court with us next season!"
Plitzuweit continued, "Injuries are among the most difficult parts of sports, but Tori will not face this challenge alone; Her teammates, coaches, and our medical staff will be there providing support and encouragement every step of the way!"
