Gophers and FOX9 Continue Hockey TV Partnership

MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota men's hockey team will continue its television partnership with FOX9 heading into the 2025-26 season. During the non-conference portion of the schedule, the Golden Gophers will have seven home games airing and streaming on B1G+ and also simulcast on FOX9/FOX9+ presented by Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union.
 
The home opener on Oct. 3 vs. Michigan Tech will air on FOX9, while other non-conference matchups on Oct. 4 (Michigan Tech), Oct. 10 (Boston College), Oct. 24-25 (Minnesota Duluth), and Nov. 14-15 (Long Island) will air on FOX9+.
 
The Oct. 9 contest versus Boston College is set to be broadcast via the Big Ten Network, while broadcast designations for Big Ten Conference games and non-conference road matchups will be released at a later date.
 
"The deep and rich tradition of 'Pride on Ice' resonates throughout the State of Hockey.  We're honored to continue to broadcast games to passionate fans as the Maroon and Gold pursue their next championship," FOX9 Senior Vice President and General Manager Marian Davey said.
 
Back for the 105th edition of Pride on Ice will be a 30-minute pre-game show presented by M Health Fairview home for games, airing on FOX9/FOX9+, showcasing the Maroon and Gold through feature stories, sit-down interviews, and on-ice instructional videos. Jim Rich will host the show and provide play-by-play announcing with Gophers' second all-time leading scorer Pat Micheletti serving as an analyst on the broadcast. A post-game show will air immediately after the conclusion of all games on FOX9/FOX9+ recapping the game action presented by RBC Wealth Management.
 
With no subscriptions or fees, FOX 9+ is your FREE ticket to local sports, which reaches nearly two million homes.  FOX 9+ can be found on Comcast channel 10/807, DirecTV channel 29, DISH channel 29, Spectrum channel 10, Mediacom channel 10/803, and Over-The-Air channel 9.2. In addition, these games will be available on FOX 9+ on Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV, FuboTV, and YouTube TV.
