Brylee Glenn will join Minnesota's roster for the 2025-26 season

MINNEAPOLIS - University of Minnesota women's basketball head coach Dawn Plitzuweit has announced that Brylee Glenn (Kansas City, Mo.) has signed with the Golden Gophers. Glenn joins Minnesota as a grad transfer after playing three seasons at Kansas State.

"We are thrilled to have Brylee join our Gopher women's basketball family," said head coach Dawn Plitzuweit. "Brylee is an outstanding student, she is a dynamic young lady, and she is an intense competitor on the court! We are excited for how Brylee fits our program on both sides of the ball. On the defensive end, she has the ability to make plays while guarding either in a full court or a half court. When she is off the ball she does a good job of understanding how to make plays as well. On the offensive end, she has the ability to impact the game by handling and attacking, which can create a scoring opportunity for herself or her teammates. In addition, she can stretch the defense with her ability to shoot from the arc. We believe that Brylee's versatility, toughness and experience will be incredibly valuable. We are looking forward to having her on campus with us soon!"

As a junior, Glenn played and started all 34 games for the Wildcats. She ended the season with a career high .427 (79-185) from the field averaging 6.3 points per game. The guard grabbed 76 boards while dishing out 36 assists. She tallied a season-high 23 points along with three steals against Oklahoma State.

During her sophomore season, she achieved a career-high in every stat category. Glenn played 36 games with 32 starts, tallying 300 total points, averaging 8.3 points per game. The Kansas City, Mo., native ended the season with 99 boards. Notably, she tallied 15 points against Wichita State in the first round of the WNIT and helped lead Kansas State to the second round.

In her debut campaign, she earned 2022 Big 12 All-Freshman Team honors and was recognized as Big 12 Freshman of the Week three times. She played in 32 games with 27 starts. Glenn ranked third in team scoring with 263 points, notching double figures in 10 games. Glenn and the Wildcats reached the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament during the 2021-22 season.

"I chose Minnesota for a number of reasons," said Glenn. "Since the start of this process the most important thing to me was going somewhere where I could have an impact and where I would both fit and thrive in a system. I knew that this was the place I could see myself playing for my final year with the goal of doing big things as a team next season!"
