Tepper, Polyak Notch Personal Bests at Men’s Last Chance Meet

MINNEAPOLIS - Fifth-year Joey Tepper and freshman Joe Polyak secured new personal records in the 1650 free and 100 breast, respectively, in Minnesota's Last Chance Meet at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on Sunday.
Tepper recorded a nine-second improvement in the 1650 free, clinching a new PR of 14:48.01 after a 1:56.82 seed time.
In the 100 breast, Polyak notched both a personal best and NCAA 'B' cut time of 53.17, improving from his seed of 54.41.
Freshman Luke Brennan swam in the 1650 alongside Tepper, notching a career second-best of 15:02.12.
Men's qualifiers of the NCAA Championships will be announced on Wednesday, March 12.
