Leadership U Council Members Earn 2021-2022 Certificate of Excellence

Throughout the year, the Gopher Athletics leadership council members met monthly to troubleshoot leadership challenges in real time with their peers from across sport. The Leadership U staff is committed to creating a space that provides the opportunity for Gopher student-athletes to build community and help them embody what leadership means to them.
During the 2021-22 academic year, members of the leadership council have been working toward earning the Leadership U Certificate of Excellence. In order to earn the certificate, student-athletes must meet the following requirements:

- Attending and engaging in Leadership U programming with fellow student-athletes
- Completing and debriefing behavioral and emotional intelligence assessments
- Reflecting on Speaker Series professional guests' insights
- Actively engaging with the Leadership U staff and fellow student-athletes
