Junior Spirit Squad Makes Debut

On Saturday September 14, the Junior Spirit Squad cheered at their very first Gopher Football Game! They cheered the first quarter of the game alongside the All Girl Cheerleaders.
The Junior Spirit Squad is a brand new team that invites all cheerleaders still in high school or younger to get a first hand experience of what it is like to be a University of Minnesota cheerleader. The team cheers at at numerous events including the U of M Homecoming parade and a Gopher basketball game in Williams Arena.
